Wright Library supports teaching, learning and research in theology with a wide range of services for Princeton Seminary and the global community.

Wright Library Services A-Z

    • Booking an Appointment – Reference appointments (online/in-person), collection consultations, library tours

    • Borrowing Library Materials – Wright Library offers annual, fee-based borrowing privileges to the public and complimentary borrowing privileges to faculty, students and staff of Princeton Seminary and other select groups.

    • BrowZine / Online Journals – Browse many of Wright Library’s online journals and download articles with BrowZine and explore the other tools available for finding full text journal content

    • Course Reserves – For Princeton Seminary course readings: Desk reserves (First Floor – Circulation Desk) and e-reserves (Brightspace)

    • Hours – Building hours, plus hours for the Reference Desk, Special Collections and Archives, Center for Barth Studies and Brick Café

    • Interlibrary Loan – Makes supplemental resources for research available to Princeton Seminary faculty, students, Visiting Scholars and OMSC Global Partners
    • Lactation Room – Wright Library offers a private, comfortable lactation room.

    • Loan Periods – How long items can be borrowed from the library depends on their material type and the borrower’s role

    • My Account – Log in to your library account online or via a mobile app to view checkouts and more

    • News – Latest news from Wright Library, including Collection and Service Updates and links to social

    • Printing – Princeton Seminary students and faculty have printing privileges

    • Print Disability Services – Designated Wright Library staff can help researchers get research materials in accessible formats
    • Purchase Suggestion – Suggest a title for purchase by Wright Library to add to the collections.

    • Recalling Library Materials – If an item is currently checked out to another borrower, patrons with recall privileges may recall it.

    • Reference Services – Our Reference and Research Librarian, reference assistants, an extensive reference collection and online research guides support theological study.
    • Reigner Collection – The Charles G. Reigner Collection is a Christian education resource center that maintains a wide range of material for children in preschool through senior adults
    • Renewing Library Materials – Options for renewing items include opting in to renew via text (SMS).
    • Research Guides – Get started with Research Guides, select specific databases from the A-Z List and explore popular library services

    • Reserving a Study Room – Room reservations in Wright Library are available to current Princeton Seminary students

    • Scanners – Scanning is accessible at either Canon copier location, the First Floor in the Copy Center (left of the Circulation Desk) and in the front of the building (left of the main doors as you enter). Scans can be sent digitally via email or OneDrive.

    • Self-Service in Summon – Self-service features in Summon include renewing and recalling books and saving searches. Click Log In in the upper right corner to get started

    • Study Spaces – Many spaces in the library are open on a first-come first-served basis.

    • Tutorials – Looking for academic support from Wright Library and Information Technology / IT? We’re here for you with tutorials, research guides and points of contact.

    • Wireless Access – Princeton Theological Seminary provides wireless Internet, accessible in most public parts of the library building. Library users with their own laptops or tablets may use them to access a wide array of online library resources.
